We are partnered with Your Horse Adventures, providing meals, packed lunches and of course somewhere to stay for their horse riders on one of their expeditions. The riders are often on their way to or from the coast and going all across Wales. We also offer stabling and grazing for any other guest who would like to take advantage of the beautiful scenery here and take their horse on holiday here!
We have secure, fenced fields available for grazing with a water supply to them, as well as a small paddock near the cottages. Saddle racks are in the stable and we have a hose to rinse off any gear (or horses!) that need washing, as well as buckets for feed or extra water. Our boiler room is warm 24/7 so any wet kit can be dried overnight, and it can be locked so everything will remain secure.
The cottages are located in the heart of the Hafren Forest, which has open access to horse riders across all 40 square kilometres. The forty to fifty year felling cycle allows Natural Resources Wales to manage Hafren as a habitat for wildlife and for the quiet, relaxing enjoyment of visitors. It's a haven for bird watching, home to a variety of plants, fruit bushes, trees and mosses, and lots of different amphibians and fish. The countryside is beautiful and views first-rate!
