Stop Press: we now offer an evening meal (either 2 or 3 courses) to guests.  All the food is freshly home-cooked and sourced locally where possible.

WelcomeCwmbiga in its lovely setting to Cwmbiga Farm

Cwmbiga (pictured) is a 57 acre smallholding set in its own valley in the Hafren Forest and the Cambrian Mountains.  We are just a mile from the Clywedog Reservoir (renowned for its fly fishing) and 9 miles north-west of the lovely market town of Llanidloes.  The Glyndwr Way and Severn Way pass nearby and a path to the source of the Severn goes past the farmhouse.  Cwmbiga is on a national cycle path (Sustrans Route 8) and the farm lies on a circular leisure drive starting at Llanidloes.

Eco Friendly Accommodation   Late Availability

Our 4 star cottages make an ideal rural retreat and a great base for an outdoor activity holiday , a romantic break or a get together with friends or family.  If you are looking for a low impact, but comfortable and cosy break in a lovely rural location with abundant wildlife, then our newly constructed and eco friendly cottages will fit the bill.  The adjoining cottages (sleeping up to 8 in each) are timber framed, highly insulated and heated by a combination of wood fuelled central heating, huge array of solar hot water panels and cosy wood burner.  For more details of how we limit the cottages' impact on the environment, please see our "sustainability" page.

The open plan design means that the cottages also provide a lovely venue for small conferences, training courses or team building events.

If you would like to discuss a booking or you have any questions, please get in touch.  Susan and Peter
