Cyclists Welcome Walkers Welcome
Cwmbiga Farm welcomes cyclists and walkers.

We are on Sustrans Route 8 and very close to the Glyndwr's Way, between Llanidloes and Staylittle.

We are also 2 miles from northern end of the Wye Valley Walk, which starts at Rhydybenwch, in the Hafren Forest.

We offer comfortable B&B accommodation, lovely home cooked evening meals using locally sourced ingredients where possible, a full Welsh breakfast to set you up for the day ahead, and substantial packed lunches if required.  We can also arrange for your baggage to be transferred to your next port of call.

On arrival, we'll welcome you with a drink and a piece of delicious home made cake.  Once you have recovered from your exertions, you can wash
your kit / your bike before we show you to your comfortable B&B room or self catering cottage.  If you are staying in one of our eco friendly cottages and you have pre-ordered and groceries, these will be waiting for you.

Any wet clothing or footwear can be left in our drying room overnight.  Bikes and saddlebags can be stored in a locked outhouse.  And if you need some running repairs, we have a comprehensive first aid kit.  If it is your bike that needs some TLC, we also have some basic tools (including tyre levers / puncture repair kit) and pumps.

If you would like more details about the accommodation itself or to see photos of the rooms, please see our "bed and breakfast" page.

Set in the middle of the Hafren Forest, with its miles of tracks, Cwmbiga also makes a great base for a walking or cycling holiday: please see our "self catering" page.

We look forward to welcoming you to Cwmbga.  Susan and Peter
