Renewable Energy: A Gentle Introduction - with Peter Bayliss          [Read the great feedback from a recent presentation]

We have combined

- our experience of
planning the installation of the district heating system, wood boiler and solar thermal panels we have at the farm,

- our knowledge of renewables gleaned from completing several undergraduate courses on the subject, including "Energy for a Sustainable Future", and

-
Peter's skill and experience as a presenter [as well as being a partner in Cwmbiga, Peter tutors several Open University modules],

to write a a one day course at Cwmbiga giving an overview of the different technologies available, the economics of such systems, grants (including the new "Feed in Tariffs".  A delicious lunch and a tour of Cwmbiga's wood and solar powered district heating system are included.

So if you would like to

- find out how to save money on your heating bills … and reduce your carbon footprint

- find out more about the options available, so that you can ask penetrating questions of prospective suppliers / installers

- to see renewable energy technology installed and in action
